Service Description
Microlinks are small, silicone-lined metal beads that attach extensions to natural hair. The process involves threading small sections of natural hair through these beads, then inserting the extension hair into the bead and clamping it shut with a special tool. Application Process Preparation- The natural hair is washed, dried, and often straightened to make the installation process easier. Sectioning- The hair is sectioned into small, manageable parts. Bead Insertion- A small section of natural hair is threaded through a microlink bead using a looping tool. Extension Insertion- The extension hair, either a strand or a small weft, is inserted into the bead along with the natural hair. Securing- The bead is clamped shut with pliers, securing the extension to the natural hair. Blending- The extensions are blended with the natural hair to achieve a seamless look. Benefits Natural Appearance- Microlink extensions move and blend seamlessly with natural hair, providing a natural look and feel. No Glue or Heat- The installation process does not require glue, heat, or chemicals, reducing the risk of damage to natural hair. Reusable- High-quality microlink extensions can be reused multiple times, making them a cost-effective option. Versatility- Suitable for various hair types and textures and can be styled like natural hair. Maintenance and Care Regular Check-Ups- Regular visits to the stylist are recommended to ensure the beads are secure and the extensions are in good condition. Gentle Handling- Avoid tugging or pulling on the extensions to prevent slippage or damage. Washing- Wash the hair gently with sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners, and avoid applying conditioner directly to the roots. Brushing- Use a soft-bristle brush and start from the ends, working your way up to avoid tangling.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointments and convenience are of high importance to us. We realize that at times unexpected circumstances may require schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel an appointment, we respectfully require that you provide at least 12 hour notice. Our Policy: A cancellation or request to reschedule made less than 12 hours in advance will invoke a cancellation fee. The amount charged will be equal to 50% of the booked services. Should you arrive more than 20mins late for your appointment, we cannot guarantee that we will provide the service. If we cannot accommodate you, the same cancellation fee will be charged. We will try our best to reschedule your appointment for another time that suits you. A credit card is required to make an appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to the card you provide. In case of a true, unforeseen, and unavoidable emergency, a cancellation fee will be charged, but part or full amount of it may be deducted from your future appointment cost. We realize that emergencies occur. If you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we simply request that you inform us at least 12 hours in advance. If the booking was made for the same day, we require at least 6 hours notice. Cancellations that do not meet the above requirements will result in a 100% fee charged to the credit card on file or added to your next booking.
